Concept Skill: Rolling Thunder
Here's the skill:
Rolling Thunder {elite}: 15 energy, 1 second casting, 15 second recharge
Spell. Cast this spell at your current location and all adjacent foes are struck for 10...41 lightning damage. Three seconds later, all foes adjacent to the casted location are struck for 20...51 lightning damage, one second later, all nearby foes are struck for 10...61 lightning damage, two seconds later, all foes in the area are struck for 3...74 lightning damage. This skill has 25% armor penetration.
Usage:
Okay, so you run up to a group. All adjacent foes will take 41 lightning damage (at 12 air magic). Then 3 seconds later all the foes that are still adjacent to the spot where the spell was casting will be struck for 51 damage. Then one second after that, all foes in the area will be struck for 61 lightning damage, and yes, this applies the ones adjacent as well. Then the people have 2 seconds to get their ass out of there or, they stay in and all nearby foes take 74 lightning damage.
Of course, many people can say that this can be easily countered with Reversal of Fortune. But, the monk won't always have that opportunity right? But anyway, you can somewhat work this like Savannah Heat, this skill + Gale. But you're going to need a second knockdown for the bigger damage.
But then, after some "analysis" Savannah Heat is still potentially stronger as long as the enemy can put set put into it.
Another combo that could be used is this skill + Whirlwind/Tenai's Wind.
Bots should count this as an AoE skill and should, don't know if they will, try to get out of it. It's like Lava Front, or any other AoE skill that lasts for a duration.
I decided to buff up this skill to compete with Savannah Heat. Here are the original numbers (yes I'm still making the first post here, but others may like these numbers better). 41 (when casted), 41 (3 seconds later), 51 (4 seconds later after casting), 64 (the last hit).
ADDED: 8:36 p.m. U.S. Mountain Time
For the animation I though that on the moment of casting, little lightning squiggles come out showing that you casted the spell. Then the first hit (3 seconds later) will have lightning shoot out of the epicenter to the adjacent circle. Then the second hit will have the ground glow. Then the last hit will have a ring of lightning at the outer rim of the nearby circle with glowing ground. But the ring won't go ridiculously high so it won't be visually blinding (as in you can't see your guy anymore).

So, this is like [skill=text]Savannah Heat[/skill]?
Eh, I think its overpowered, especially for the one second cast time.
BTW, might wanna read the rules, no double posting. Ever.

10. Do Not Double Post
In these forums, a double post consists of any two consecutive posts from the same user. It does not matter whether or not the contents differ -- if no one else's words or opinions come between two posts from the same person, it's a double post. Since the forums are growing extremely fast, and the moderators have limited time, those who ignore the edit button and repeatedly double/triple/quadruple post can have their second, third, fourth, etc, posts deleted without notice, and without having their contents pasted onto the first post as per usual.
Use the EDIT Button
As the EDIT button will never disappear, you can always go back to edit your last post and add new thoughts. The practice of "bumping" is highly discouraged in these forums. If people wish to respond to your thread, they will add their opinions without the need of repeated spammed "bumps." Repeated "bumping" of a thread will most likely lead to the thread's deletion, instead

I think you are only allowed bumping in the trade forum.

Don't mock me, and it would appear people are not interesting in this thread and this guy just loves bashing me =/. I guess this is a legitimate reason to close.

I didn't honestly didn't mean it to be offensive, it wasn't meant to be serious. (The "Haha Owned?")
And, better than a mod telling you about the double post. (I don't close threads)
